Ways to Give

Help little dreams take flight this Giving Tuesday
November 29, 2022

GivingTuesday is a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world and reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity. At SPPS, our philosophy in education is to provide a play-based academic and faith centered environment for our students. Your Giving Tuesday donation will help us move towards enriching our fine arts department, increasing technology in the classrooms as we continue to grow our elementary school, and providing quality professional development for our teachers that directly impacts our students.

Sowing into Our Future

As St. Petersburg Primary School looks toward the future, we continue to grow to respond to the needs of our school and surrounding community.

  • We returned to our roots by adding a kindergarten class for the 2021-22 school year (53 years after the first kindergarten class) with plans to grow through fifth grade by adding a grade per school year.

  • Music, Art, PE, Library and Technology classes have been added to the schedule for our Elementary classes.

  • Not only have we grown to include elementary school, but we have expanded younger to provide a preschool experience for one-year-olds which is much needed in our community.

  • The school day continues to include Christian education through monthly Chapel and weekly Bibletime classes.

We value our strong partnership with First Presbyterian Church as we strive to support the original mission of FPC to provide Christian nurture to the children of the St. Petersburg community.
